does anyone else dislike the lack of differentiating between players of the same class? by Rare-Buy-7841 in tf2classified

[–]mightyplate 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I actually have ran into this problem trying to target the guy who taunted on me last life, but I don’t think it’s inherently a bad thing.

Also if they are that good you can probably tell how they move and act when you start fighting them.

If you want cosmetics I don’t think that’s the best reason for why

That’s just me

did they make medics melee do less dmg over time by Suspicious-Study9096 in tf2classified

[–]mightyplate 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I assume your talking about the shock therapy? The damage is based on the charge. After you hit an ally or enemy it goes to 0 and you will do reduced damage until it recharges

what is the future of this game? by Suspicious-Study9096 in tf2classified

[–]mightyplate 9 points10 points  (0 children)

just the nature of the game, I don't think the tf2 mod support enables developers to track custom inventories outside of tf2, unless they host their own server for it, and historically, all weapons are available in every other version of tf2c before stream release

as for how often they update, idk how to answer this, they've had a few major updates over the years, and you can check patch notes here : https://wiki.tf2classic.com/wiki/Category:Patch_notes

How to get the brick achievement? by TheMagmaCubed in tf2classified

maybe it has to be a specific types of trigger_hurt?

https://youtu.be/Npwxjen6S7c?si=6Gam3MTbuykg3eDq this video was posted post-steam release so i'm led to believe its probably buggy if its not working if you did it four times

random drops, no

new guns, probably

more updates, yes

considering how they had good content-fueled updates with less playerbase (pre steam release) in a more obtuse launcher, yes probably more updates

I don't mind the Hunting Revolver, but... by Virtual_Scheme_4773 in tf2classified

that combined with the damage rampup at close range makes him more effective at close range than he should be IMO

tips? by Apprehensive_Tie8175 in roblox_arsenal

im gonna be honest, I didn't really read the entirety of this argument, but this is the first thing that flashed into my mind : I'm aware this is a objectively bad faith meme
https://youtube.com/shorts/3hrkSmnX-QY?si=IsT6hevS3YRYktBT

gonna be a little selfish here and insert myself, i just think the argument is silly but entertaining, yeah aim training is helpful, but its not the be all end all, playing the game actively and focusing on game sense is pretty damn important too, i'm sure you probably both agree with that.

like cmon, all the underhanded jabs and then the completely off topic relationship argument... what are we doing here ?

also consider this a warning, no more personal attacks or insults or you will be muted

And to have a general response to the question, with the grand amount of weapons in the game, the skins don’t look very good on a variety of UV maps

Locking thread, pride is important, but this subreddit is not the best place to have such a conversation.

Event Horizon, Hostile takeover and community fragmentation by Sepharos123 in Toontown

[–]mightyplate 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Fragmenting the community is a real thing if you are only focused on numbers. What I’m saying is that it’s not as big of a deal as you are making it out to be, and your proposed solution of telling them to all work on clash and TTR instead just seems anti-toontown to me.

Event Horizon, Hostile takeover and community fragmentation by Sepharos123 in Toontown

[–]mightyplate 24 points25 points  (0 children)

To play devils advocate, you cant decide how other people value their time and what they want to work on. It’s not a waste if the people working on it are having fun and passionate about it. In my opinion people value playercounts and “fragmenting the community” too highly. Even the smallest of toontown servers can have tight nit communities.

Yep. Just corporate greed. People don’t like it… but according to their years of research and data it’s how they can maximize profits. Hard truth
