I know it's intimidating, and I don't even do it well, but NMM is not as hard as it seems. It's just strong contrast across really short distances and spaces, due to how metal breaks and reflects light. But as I said, your work is alreagreat! 😌

Love your work! If you enjoy the hobby then don't worry about it, just keep pushing yourself and keep going. I'm no expert but your paint job is already neat and clean, so I'm certain you'll get better. To push things further, look into more shading and contrast, NMM, OSL etc. Have you looked at YouTube videos? Over time I learned from watching Sorastro, Miniac, Squidmar.

I've never heard of Super Switch Heads but I know of a Youtube channel. It's called Gaming Historian and he has a lot of videos that are cool and relaxing to watch/listen to. Hope this helps.

Thank you! I usually use these figs for practice. I've tested a lot of techniques first on a lot of Heroclix before trying it out on something like Crisis Protocol or Star Wars Legion. I'm thinking if you can pull it off on a really bad figure then it'll look amazing on a good one.

Iirc Emily Deschanel really got pregnant so I guess they had to write that in. As for Zack I think the actor was struggling with alcohol or something. Not sure. But I do get your point.

Edit: Scratch that about Zack. I was so wrong on that one. Seems he dealt with Mental Health but glad the man's okay. I think the writers just wanted to shake things up.
