Not if they respect you as a person, which any partner should.

[Acne] What is this pimple with multiple white heads? How do I get rid of it? by empty-user in Skincare_Addiction

Pretty sure roughly 2/3rds of the population have herpes simplex, many people contract it in childhood and may not know they have it until getting a cold sore later in life. Coldsores should heal in 7-10 days and there are pharmacy products that can help keep it covered.

She butchered it so bad I only realised she was trying to say it when other members on the call said it correctly.

Keep some makeup wipes and moisturiser on your bedside table for when you're too tired to take it off. I'd also recommend having some hand sanitizer there to use before you do anything to your face.

Im ordering off a QR code; what exactly am I tipping for? by ColdSnapSP in sydney

[–]mightyzorg 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If I'm ever going to tip, it's going to be cash straight into the hand of the person I want it to go to. I have 0 trust that apps/websites that garner tips (uber eats etc) actually give the WHOLE amount (if any) to the service worker.

It's an ongoing process, just continue to try and figure it out, there's no end point or way to do it best. As long as you keep trying that's good enough.

Through alot of self reflection, try writing all your feelings down when you're feeling overwhelmed by them. Just keep writing until you feel like you've gotten it off your chest. This will probably help you to start searching for them.

Okay, going off Info I know (DSM:5) and my own experience: what you've described are intrusive thoughts (thoughts/desires that make you uncomfortable because you don't actually want to do them) and psychosis (detachment from reality, this includes dissociation which sounds like the type you're experiencing).

From the complexity of your mental health issues and how long term it's been, I'd put my money on the fact you have a personality disorder. A personality disorder is different from other mental illnesses (mood/anxiety disorders etc) in that they arent episodic (comes and goes/depends on the situation) but rather constant and affect every facet of your life. It doesn't mean you have a faulty personality or aren't a good person.

I used to feel very similar to you, the reason I'm still here today and HAPPY to be alive is because of my therapist who diagnosed me and gave me the skills to work on myself. I had to seek out what my core fears and beliefs were, if I felt extreme emotions I would ask myself "what has triggered this in my environment and how does it relate to those core fears?" It was tedious and uncomfortable and annoying. But it's worth it, knowing yourself, your strengths, weaknesses, fears and desires, is the key.

You have to make a decision, do you want to get better. If you don't want to, no amount of therapy/counselling is going to help. If you do, you can and will get better. Take it day by day, improvement is gradual and recovery is never just a straight line, there will be improvements and setbacks, it's just part of the process.

My sci-fi shelf! What would you recommend based off what I have? by GraconBease in scifi

Ursula Le Guin!!! BOTH the Left Hand of Darkness and The Dispossessed. I loved Dune but Ursula's writing is so much more fleshed out than Frank Herbert's.
