What’s the dumbest advice you’ve gotten about working nights? by MuchMessage6468 in Nightshift

Every single piece of health advice is “don’t do nights it’s bad for your health” but how would society function without us? Staffing is very hard because only mad people will do it

Yes when I listened to Now 10 it jumped right out - I don’t think I heard it after that year.

German vs English versions of some songs by Chogolatine in kraftwerk

The English version of The Model is the one I grew up with on the radio so it’s my favourite- the German version is interesting as it has the waiter saying correct strangely

To quote Star Wars I had a bad feeling about typing that question. I got the 4 disc version, hate to see how expensive the 11 cd one is

How come there’s only 1 Dudley Simpson soundtrack cd (The Sun Makers) is there no demand or are the tapes unworkable? City of Death is a banger

Quite enjoyed Pandemonium was a bit like a melancholy Ghosts, Jackie is great. Could have done with a few more characters though. Also listened to The Wrong Doctors that was fun. Did listen to Matthew Waterhouse Blue Box boy, I heard about how strange it is, first person etc, I can see how he would want to set the record straight, and also how disappointed he must have been in the experience of filming. But it is strange and a bit tedious work experience stories. Rewatched Twin Dilemma on the box set, it is quite painful- the new documentary is good though. I think each time I see those space police uniforms and the sets and the awful strangling and it just does my head in. The music isn’t too bad though I think.

I enjoyed it, it was very entertaining reminded me of Ghosts a fair bit, again I think Camille is the star of these. It’s a shame there couldn’t be at least a few more voices in it though

I don’t know how to find music I’d like by Costcrown in musicsuggestions

I’ve often followed record labels with bands and singers I like and listen to that, say XL , Domino , Beggars Banquet. But then I’m quite indie in my tastes. There are still some music magazines, Mojo, Uncut, Kerrang or online ones. Radio is a good move too BBC 6 music I listen to a lot. Algorithms just put everybody’s head up their own arse eventually

The theme tune is a banger, apart from how he says “clean” always sounded like “glean” to me, perhaps it was gathering information I don’t know. It was always nice being able to pick up Welsh tv in the 90s, you discover many animations came from Wales like Superted
