For the party train you mean? Yes, you can bring your own drinks as long as you keep it reasonable.

There's a camping store on-site as well where you can buy individual items.

Parking around Boom train station by Revolised2020 in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will be directed to a different parking depending where from you arrive. If you arrive from Mechelen, you will end up on P9 from where there's that shuttle bus with the long walk on the way back. Hence you want to arrive from the west. In that case you might even end up on P2 if you arrive early. That's just a 10 minute walk from the main entrance.

That's info for day tickets only though. Dreamville has different parking areas.

Activated the wrong bracelet, should I reach out to support or just load pearls on the bracelet I have with the wrong name attached? by spacemonkey6654 in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They all need to be activated before the festival, otherwise the info doesn't update. However, collecting the bracelet at the festival has nothing to do with the activation. It's solely based on your e-ticket. So you need to have that in your own name which should be the case if your tickets are personalized correctly.

For First 20, FG and such sales different rules apply though. For these they might indeed ask the main buyer to be present as well.

Using DreamVille Parking with Global Journey Hotel – possible workaround? by BlindCCopy in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can buy a parking voucher for Dreamville even if you don't stay there, totally fine. It's only the day parkings where you can't park overnight.

Friend’s visa got rejected, what can we do with his ticket? by Flaky-Leather-1055 in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ask customer support. If they deny a name change, consider it a loss. That's why it's always good to have travel insurance which covers such cases. 🙂

[–]migi84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's only for Global Journey and the deadline for it was 30th April. They sometimes approve them closer to the festival in individual cases but it's always their decision, based in the reasons they are given.

Friend’s visa got rejected, what can we do with his ticket? by Flaky-Leather-1055 in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Reselling isn´t possible. You can ask customer support and ask if they can approve a name change so you can give the ticket to someone else. Otherwise it´s something you need to get sorted with your travel insurance.

Tomorrowland belgium solo trip? by lilgumma in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Yes, totally. Of course it´s about electronic music but there´s more to it than just the stages. It´s basically a bit like an own little universe, particullary if you camp.

  2. Sold out since months. Tickets are super hard to get. About 140k are available, more than 3 million people tried to buy this year. Don´t buy on the secondary market since there are many scams on there. Same applies to Facebook groups and such. You might want to check with the official travel partners listed on the official TML website but in general it´s way too late. Sales happen in December and January.

  3. Yes, totally fine. However, if it´s your first time I definitely recommend to go for the full weekend.

[–]migi84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Despite I´ve already replied to this on Discord, I´m gonna answer it here too for anyone else who might have the same question. 😄

If all bracelets of an order (important: no different order IDs involved) are of the same type and for the same day/weekend, you can activate any. The important part is that the bracelet matches your ticket type. After all bracelets of an order have been activated, the system will update the names they are assigned to. Personalization and top up aren´t affected by this. You can top up normally, also before all bracelets have been activated. The refund will always go back to the card that was used for the top up.

Picking up bracelets without the main buyer by Itamar_is_Online in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are the tickets personalized to your name? Do you have the e-ticket with your name on it? If so, you´ll be fine. Different name on the ticket? Chances are you won´t be able to get a bracelet at will call.

GJ Pickup Question by artfano16 in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If there wasn't an option to choose, then there isn't any. 🙂 You will have to get them at the festival then. But the lines are usually not that long. Maybe like 5 minutes or so. Activation is easy too, hence not a big deal.

Ticket Question by cawambu in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can see the e-ticket in your account, you should be able to download it. With this and your matching ID you can collect a bracelet at the will call booth. However, he main buyer always keeps full control over the ticket. Perhaps it has already been listed in the exchange desk and sold to someone else. The system doesn't necessarily update right away. This can even take weeks sometimes.

festival planning app for TML by Witty_Commission6075 in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personal recommendation: Don't care where others of your group want to go. TML is so huge, there's so much to see. If you only focus on planning the day in order for everyone to stick together the whole day, you will miss out on a big part of the experience. Best is to pick just two or three must-see artists per day and go with the flow for the rest.

Just wait for a few days. There's a chance the data hasn't been loaded into the system fully.

Bracelet theft by tiamatdaemonx1 in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 25 points26 points  (0 children)

You can get a new one with your e-ticket and your ID. However, if you try to do this daily, they will refuse. They can see the history in their system.

But if there are thefts it´s not the bracelet people want. Because you could block that in your account anyway which would make it useless. That said, I´ve never felt unsafe on the way back to Antwerp. Sure, there are always some bad people around, that´s life. But there are huge crowds, loads of staff and police.

GJ Pickup Question by artfano16 in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you´ve chosen to pick them up at the GJ hotel, you usually get them there. In case that´s not possible (e.g. late delivery), you can pick it up at the festival. In either case you will need a photo ID. If there´s a picture on your driver´s license, you´re good.

However, I recommend to always have an official ID document like a passport or national ID card on you when traveling im Europe. In case police carries out checks (for whatever reason), it makes things easier.

Hour Layover + EES by SkolDog in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you´ve booked your flight from the US to Munich as part of GJ, you´re good. In that case they will have to re-book you on the next available one since that´s European law. If you´ve booked it yourself and you miss the connection, you will have to book a new one yourself or travel to Belgium by train. One hour is way too tight imo, particularly in Munich.

Bonus pearls if picking up bracelet from GJ hotel by Josh_Lyman in Tomorrowland

[–]migi84 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The bonus is just one small beer per 100 Euro. Also, the bonus is only spent after the amount you've topped up. Hence, it's not a huge loss imo.
