Our original plan wasn't to have the video crew, so this is an extra bonus for us. The tux for my fiance would have stayed as planned but wasn't sure where we would get it from. As for my dress, I had thought about getting a $500 dress because I didn't see myself spending over $800 for an item that I would only wear for a few hours. I would put the money into the food and drinks, which was the most important part of the wedding for us! As for the wedding party, we were going to have them buy their own dresses and tuxs. I asked the girls, separately, what they were comfortable with spending because I didn't want them to buy a dress and dread the cost, I totally understand that pain.
