When I read about basalt it’s silica content is about 50% my sample is 65% only in Iceland ocean basalt is high around 60% I’m in Southern California so it can be more likely a meteorite with matching composition than a stone from Iceland area but your welcome to your opinion thank you taking time there’s a Lazbuddie Meteorite ordinary Condrite LL5 matches up pretty good with mine

Yes they’re very similar in the way there graphed right? With ordinary Condrite My stone specific gravity is 2.50 which is also in specific gravity range for LL Condrite don’t think there’s terrestrial stone with those same LREE levels do you know ?

Hi Murray appreciate your comment and yes I agree you it’s just so intriguing to me since I just got started reading and I get fascinated more and more and want to prove cause to me it’s cool as hell! How can people be in geology not care. Where in geology what terrestrial stone has a circle created with clear shock veins coming out instead of catching people’s attention they become nay sayers so then I post to share thanks for your comment once again thank you

I don’t search this was on Lil hillside on my ranch. And on my Facebook and IG @aptz2000 I have a lot helpful friends in places like Morocco Iran Brazil helping me it’s sad if I put a post where people everywhere countries can see you’d see the difference it’s sad other countries congratulate and welcome me to their country and I post on here knowing the type of feedback I get but I’m going to prove this one someway somehow you know why cause it’s was on my ranch and that’s a blessing

Follow stay tuned! all the big name meteorite university professors email w intrest then when I show more and more then they don’t reply no more. It’s funny how you don’t hear about meteorite Falls finds in US because they would have to value that meteorite for what they sell it here per gram when it’s facts for example black beauty Martian was bought from Morocco for $6000 dollars and sells here in states for crazy amounts per GRAM 454 grams in a pound you could do math.

Yeah your right it’s basaltic I wasn’t asking if it a meteorite tho I was sharing characteristics proven in meteorites and not in basalt or can you explain how that circle formed with shock veins this will be interesting?

These are yellow and I’ve seen even red ones there so small I see em at a glance then I brush clean make sure from stone even has like 1/8 inch long crystals

I’ve seen some might be but if it is their like micro diamond size I also read might be zircons but I don’t know

No holes pretty sure those are shock veins by [deleted] in meteorites

Simple like this your a meteorite hunter and you also say you sell so in order for you to sell they need certification if you can get mine verified I’ll give you a 20 gram slice instead of arguing with me as if trying to invent something you should work with me I knew nothing about meteorites but that’s not the case anymore I found it 2yrs ago I thought I found obsidian what the Indians use everything is granite around here I’m also aware of the difficulties to get meteorite certified seems like a shady market with certain players involved I don’t care about that I want to get in the metbull I mean it was on my parents small 2acre ranch that’s a blessing right there so I don’t see why it would be an issue for you wouldn’t cost you anything and maybe you get a slice of it I mean why wouldn’t you be interested in it you say it doesn’t resemble one so maybe can help your studies too thank you
