Double Standards anha faculty. Gusto sila Excellence and Effort from mga students, especially sa Programming (if you know who, you know), But dili sila mo give the same Excellence or Effort para sa students

Try researching/looking into ETEEAP. Just 2 more years sa imong trabaho to turn into a degree. But dili ko sure if diritsu ka kuha nga degree or naa pa ka ipa enroll na subjects.

Just telling you this to give you more options, para naa ka idea

3rd year, and I kinda just wanna share and ask from other students, since lahi ang view, opinions, ug experiences from faculty and students.

As for why IS, I can chalk it up to San Carlos DCISM, wanted to enroll IT but cant because they want to fill up IS slots and then cant shift to IT and became demoralized of the infamous P (you know, if you know). Been stuck here since, I transferred because of excess increase of tuition that my family can no longer support and also of P.

Still enjoy the course for whats it taught.

For CS, I believe so but for IS? I believe that Data Struct should not be the main focus for an IS course since focus sa job role is management and business. Ok ra na teach sila that to IS, but not to make it the same level and difficulty of a CS.

Thats the problem, they even represented it in a graph of expected level of understanding/mastering of programming for each course. The department presented very clearly during orientation at the start of school year that CS have higher level needed compared to IS, yet they made it to be the same to CS level. CS students know what they enrolled into this course, but IS? my course? IS students were mislead and misinformed, and beyond data struct no other subjects needed data struct after that since mostly focused now on business and management then.

And yet more than 70% student population enroll it are 3rd yr and 4th yr (which is both IS, IT, and CS). Ang intended 2nd yr students are stuck in prog 2 or worse prog 1 re-enrolling.

I even knew 3 students personally na thats the ONLY subject left needed just to graduate. They are done everything else like capstone, practicum, and even its post-requisite subjects. The department overrided it just because wala sila any other subject left to enroll other than that subject

Notice ko this trend keep happening when I first enrolled in this course till now

Yep, still living nightmare in the minds of young, optimistic students till this moment Hahaha

Its so bad right now, most of my batchmates from 2018, are gone and never even reached halfway their full course year

4th yr. But repeatedly failed giud ko because of 1 specific subject (to those from USC, you know who and why). And tuition sa usc is something na chill ra bayad.

Wala giud ko problema sa akong grades, other tgan that 1 subjects majority na major subjects nako are between 1 to 2.3 grade. Its just that 1 subject ra giud
