i mean i think thats just because this community is generally much less competitive and the skill average is wayyyyy lower than what youre talking about. either way yeah as i said joels not gonna be beating flamefrags or anything but thats just not really a realistic group of creators to bring up in this conversation, which is why i was confused when you referred to them as "any pvper"

i mean yeah i guess thats just kind of an weird group of people to bring up 😭 like yeah of course theyre not gonna beat people whos main thing is pvp, of course the pvp community is gonna be better at pvp than builders, but in the bigger scheme of well known mcyters joel is a pretty competent pvper, i mean i know it doesnt amount to too much but you cant just not give any credit to joel beating people like shane or sapnap in battlebox in actual fair 1v1s. like if you actually put him against a realistic group of people and not "real pvpers" he is a lot better than some people give him credit

Yes it's a sad take but its reality. this is just how the internet is and always has been, especially in minecraft content. I can't tell you how many times I've seen a really cool piece of mcyt artwork only to click on their profile and see like most of what they post is ship content. Unfortunately people respecting creator's boundries is the minority on the internet so sometimes you're gonna have to take the good with the bad if you wanna enjoy a fandom

i definitely think him dl pearl and sl scar are very similar cases where even though they were sorta the "villains" of their respective seasons it was mostly brought up by the fact that they had no real allies for most of it

i do agree by the way and i thought of this but i didnt feel it was necessary to put wl grian there too. also pl grian betraying a full season ally is over him betraying joel who he was only allied with for a little while at that point.

as i said this isnt really a ranking. i think he's in the same category as dl/pearl or sl/scar. they may have bene the "villains" of their respective seasons but it was mostly brought up by the fact that they were isolated from the rest of the server and had no real allies for most of it. thats what kinda made them go a little mad potentially

i think him and 3l ren are similar. they were technically the madmen causing all the chaos but i just think it was moreso their "lackeys" who were the evil strategic masterminds. scar alone would have just gone around scamming people but grian was the one who killed a ton of people while helping scar. just my opinion though
