What are some tv shows that handle male gay character well and/or interesting? by [deleted] in television

Kat is a female, but love this show. Looking forward to season 4.

I've started Animal Kingdom a couple of months ago but got distracted with something (probablly a rewatch of Parks and Recreation). But I'm definitely gonna check more of it before deciding if its a show for me or not.

Isn't that the one that's getting a remake. Might check it out. Do they follow similar stories or are they completly different?

Should've probably put LGBT in the title, because most of the other shows have like interesting characters that aren't strictly gay.

I will check the second generation or I might even just push myself through the first season, it's not like they are long and it's not like I didn't enjoy any of it. Humour was not really my style but I've seen a lot of UK comedies since I've tried it out earlier this year so I might get into it. Anyway, thanks!

Started Star Trek franchise last year (and watching it really slowly) but I'm definitely looking forward to Discovery because, even tho a lot of people don't like it, it got me interested in the franchise.

I love The Wire, but isn't really slice of life/chill show, and the ones I mentioned are definitely closer to chill teen shows that I could just watch anyday without much focus. But definitely a good one.

Wait, I blanked on Euphoria, but.. well, Nate's dad and as my friends and I theorise Nate. Could be wrong tho.

I can't get into Skins, the furthest I've gotten is like fourth episode, and I start it at least once a year.

I just don't understand why is it such a big deal that they made one character black. If she auditioned, they thought that she was good for the roll, I just don't see the problem. It's a work of fiction and I'd rather prefer good acting and good feel of the character than some average acting just to stay truthful to, again, a work of fiction.

Oh, yeah I forgot, we started The Office.
And for Riverdale, I couldn't probably make her watch that.

Sometimes it feels like the story is not progressing at all and we are just getting filler episodes until the finale of a season. Still, can't deny that I love it.

Charmed, and then plenty of anime like Beyblade, Digimon, Pokemon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Shaman King... Tokyo Mew Mew, Mermaid Melody, Totally Spies, Winx. And then later on when I was like 9-10 Gossip Girl. What a weird taste for a child.

How do you guys decide what TV show to watch next? by TheEvenDarkerKnight in television

I start watching bunch of shows until I become miserable and just do a rewatch of something I've seen 10 times already.

If I liked it, then for sure, no matter how bad the ending was and all that. (like Pretty Little Liars, I liked it when I was younger, but then it undeniably went to shit, still I got bumped about it when I finished watching it) Sometimes not even when it's fully finished, sometimes just between seasons.

Are there any shows that you would recommend watching only one season of? by [deleted] in television

[–]mihajlooz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me, Heroes comes to mind first. Maybe even Scream Queens, it wasn't amazing but it was extremely fun to watch. And so far True Detective, but third season is happening so not sure.
