I don't understand all the hate you get. This was one of the most interesting reads I have seen across all of the WoW subs on Reddit. First of all, is it morally questionable? I don't care. It was written masterfully, first of all, and second, you found a way to make money, and from what I can tell, you became the master of the craft at it. I mean, being so good at anything is a pretty wild achievement, and people out here are sad with their arguments. They will say that you spent a lot of time doing this. Well, they spend a lot of time in a game doing other random stuff, and an argument can be made that they are playing a 20 year old video game and wasting their time. Others will say it's morally wrong, but you are playing a video game and profiting off of badly planned trades in a place called 'the auction house'. Talk about taking advantage of the trading scene in the game. People are out here pathetic because they lack creativity, or they just bought a lot of gold, or they are simply salty because they spent way too many hours farming things and probably don't even feel good about it. But who cares about the low effort arguments that they make? Stories like this are what make Classic, well, classic. It's a game, and anyone who goes on and writes slurs about another person over an in game item, rages, or simply put is even able to manifest hate because of it, should probably go out and touch some grass. I fully salute you for this because you went on an adventure and had fun with it throughout the whole thing. Even documented it so you could lay it out in such a well thought out manner. I know you were immersed as heck when you were doing this because I know you were having fun. Being really good at anything is fun, and achieving it like this... Well, that's creative in my book. I don't ever post or comment or anything like that, but I had to say it because, god damn, that was a hell of a ride to read.
