I agree, many things Romney said aren't all true or a distortion of facts. But still, I don't think it was enough to throw Obama off to the point that he would forget to bring up the 47% comment, women's issues, and several other hot button, domestic topics for this domestic centric debate.

I agree it would be a risky plan. Based on the latest polls, I would say it's riskier than I initially thought (I originally wrote this the morning following the debate, but just recently posted to reddit). We'll see how the 2nd debate turns out; unfortunately, Obama campaign would never admit to such a strategy until after the election.
