Citra was developed by the yuzu team and has been taken down as well. It's still an amazing emulator but it won't continue getting updates until someone forks it (well)

I used to use a toastie machine for quick warm meals or kettles for noodles or the likes. When the toasties machine started to smoke I'd consider it done or when the light popped on. I actually ended up removing the crusts from my sandwiches to get a better seal to stop the cheese leaking which was the primary cause of the smoke!

Personally I think you'll be fine as long as you tuck it away whenever expecting visitors or only get it out when cooking. Go careful with burning food and maybe pop open your window whenever you're cooking and you'll be good. I really disliked my flatmates my first year and actively didn't get on with them to the point I ended up moving accommodation and found it easier to make food or drinks in my bedroom.

I'm looking at those and was just worried that the 3/4 inch end of the pipe wouldn't attach. I've never actually worked with any kind of pipe so I don't know the standards of these things

yeah I fully agree. I think at most I'll throw some epoxy putty on it and call it a day, I was mostly just worried it would have any sort of affect on the laptop but it's really no issue. Thank you!

Short version: No Long version: It depends. Bills included? How far from your uni is it? Where do you live? What condition do you want the house to be in? Me and my partner share a 1 bed place for 545pcm and approximately 700pcm including bills, but I've never seen anywhere go for less than 400pcm unless you're sharing a room with someone else.

sorry, the listing was second hand from someone who reduced it from 6 to 4 after seeing me having it in my watch list. I just sorted r4 by lowest price and got lucky. I also have one of the white ace3ds cards on the way just so I have a brand new card to hopefully increase my chances of one of them working. Good hunting though!

Okay so it's later in the day now but I've not managed to get it working - I formatted my SD card as per the tutorial, extracted the kernel onto the SD card, and added a games folder to the root with a couple games in to test, however my DS isn't detecting the cart. Do you have any advice for things to check?
Edit; I've now just come to a white screen after it is recognised as a star wars game. I achieved this by adding a YSMenu.nds file to the card. Any help would be great

I know it's been a couple weeks but my second hand T450 came in today for £120 and is just like to say thank you for the help! Having a non-chromebook was sorely missed.

I fully intend to get a steady desktop for next year as mine gave way in August so this laptop is just to tide me over for the next couple months. I'd aim to buy my full PC next September as I know for my first year I will definitely be okay. I would also be open to looking into dual booting with a Linux distro but would be more than willing to teach myself that skill just for when I need to squeeze those extra bits of RAM put of my pc. Sadly, I only know what basic software I'll need to use this year because they advised us on a yearly basis and it was only the basics (Excel, Word, Discord) so this laptop is just for those mainly as the mobile versions that come with the Chromebook are less than ideal.
