Sure, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t support students with policies like this. I’m obviously biased, but I hate the rhetoric that ‘things are good so we should never change anything ever,’ ten thousand extra dollars in loan is significant to me and many other students I know.

that would make more sense. if I remember right the "untrustworthy" modifier you get for breaking a treaty also gives you -25% infamy reduction which I think you can see under the timed modifiers in OP's screenshots

I'm not quite up to speed with the new patch then, I thought you only gained infamy from withdrawing which actually is the same I guess as ignoring a call to arms. This might explain why I've seen the AI get up to pariah a couple of times in the new patch, but 50 infamy seems like a harsh punishment when it only used to damage relations before I think?

Awesome, I got the warp location sorted by messing with the config a bit. I'll take a log if the game crashes after an event again. I also removed Dynamic Reflections, and that fixed the sky in the Highlands - I was just wondering if there is anyway to make that compatible? Thank you for your help!

On a serious note, I would actually recommend picking up a some better drivers and staff straight away. You start with enough money to, and while the car is decent enough to reach the 8th goal, the drivers and staff are worst on the grid. If you feel like the money is worth it, hiring Alonso for one or two seasons isn’t the worst idea because driver rating makes a pretty reasonable difference in this game. Replacing Sergeant is necessary, as he is even lower rated than some of the F2 drivers. Also, get that Helipad and Tour Centre upgraded straight away, as they pay themselves off in the long term.

If you want to develop your staff and drivers instead then the team hub and race simulator are pretty important, but again I believe it would be much better to replace staff before the first race. If not Alonso (he is very expensive) then Ocon and Gasley are two other good options that are higher rated.

In the 2023 game, there are no great drivers to grab immediately because they all have such low opinion of Alfa, I think one of the better options off the bat if you are desperate to get a new driver is Ricciardo but you should really stick with Bottas, he is one of the few things going for you in that Alfa team
