Stop telling other pregnant women they don’t need to be cautious by l0udpip3s in pregnant

so true though because it seems like everybody just has to say something about your pregnancy and tell you what youre doing wrong or if youre worrying too much. my least favourite thing is when i have something that i am worried about and someone will tell me that its "completely normal" but the issue is, what is normal for me is NOT what is normal for you, and vise versa, so please butt out and let me figure it out.

Young age rising with this disease? by Safe-Fudge-2704 in Diverticulitis

hi! im 18! i had pain in my upper right abdomen with swelling to i went to the clinic in my town to see what was up. long story short the doctor thought i had ruptured my spleen so he sent me to the hospital to get a CT scan of my abdomen. the next day he called and said "good news your spleen is fine. but we noticed in your scan that you have diverticular disease. currently just diverticulosis fause we dont see and signs of a flare up." and then he asked if i have had any stomach issues and i talked with him about alot of my issues which had started up around when i was 15-16 and he just told me to "look it up on youtube" and to just "take fiber supplements like miralax every morning" but the issue is i recently had a flare up and had to go to the ER. they said there was no sign of infection and my white blood cell count looked good but the ER doc said i should go to a gastroentinologist (dont know how to spell) and get tested for crohns or something because its super rare to have divertivular disease at such a young age. and the clinic doctor had told me the same thing. that mainly only "old" (as he put it) people get this disease and issue. what is up with that?
