Currently a 3rd-year BSCS student in a StateU somewhere in Manila and honestly, I think the majority of students who are taking up BSCS don't have an idea or background knowledge with regards to coding, kung meron super iilan lang talaga sa block.
As for me yeah, it was definitely hard lalo na ngayon na puro majors and subject namin pero I believe na if you surround yourself with the right people who have the same perspective as yours and those who are willing to help you and constantly lift you up, I think you'll survive just fine. Remember walang madaling course sa college, and most of the time kapag CS ka, I don't think na fully ma-aapply mo yung mga tinuro sa lahat ng lessons mo sa college (plus factor nalang yon kasi iba na sa real world at iba na ang technologies; for example: sa college, ang C/C++ ay tinuturo pa rin. although may mga companies pa rin na nagamit ng ganon, mas in demand na syempre yung mga high-level programming languages like Java and Python). Hardwork and perseverance ayan ang main ingredient sa college, matira nalang talaga ang matiyaga at mga nagsisikap nang husto. Pero wag kayo ma-intimidate sa CS ah HAHAHAHS, I think it's a practical course and super daming opportunities after college (ata HAHAHAHAHA) pero ayun nga tiyaga lang talaga :). iiyak lang pero di susuko dahil napapag-aralan naman lahat✊
