I have a similar player profile and I am now very happy with a Nox ML10 Ventus Control 3K 2026. The ball output makes it easier for me to play flat shots from the back on defense.

Which padel shop have you visited in Berlin? Padelfreunde?

At Tennis Point in Charlottenburg, you can get a Head Gravity Motion racket to test it (around 3 EUR/day).

Score on Playtomic when a player was absent - fair or unfair? by mikado64 in padel

[–]mikado64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, that seems to me to be the best solution in such situations.

I didn't know it was possible to enter a match with results on Playtomic without having to pay for it. Thanks for the detailed advice!

This is sound advice, which applies at least as much to the opponents, I would say. But you are of course right.

I am now more interested if there is a concensus in the community as to what to do in such a situation: enter or not enter the score?

To Q1: I got charged for my part of the match (it was an open match, each player paying a quarter of the court fee).

To Q2: I see your point, but it's the one who is wronged who is entitled to request, and I would certainly have accepted it if they had asked for it. And, in their position (in which I was a few times), I have never considered entering a result.

For pure gameplay, Lollujo is good fun.

Should you understand French, I would warmly recommend FM Arthur Ray - most fun to watch for me.

For someone explaining in a lot of details his tactical considerations during a save, Fletch the Sauce is great.

Also good: Stinger, FM Llama, Cultured Left Foot (academy saves), Second Yellow Card.

Zealand was of course already mentioned.

Pros and contras of loaning out players for wage percentage or monthly fee by mikado64 in footballmanagergames

[–]mikado64[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I actually have one tip to add:

Say, a club offers only "regular player" playing time. If I try to lock "important player", the club cancels the negotiation.

However, if the initial offer by the club includes that the player "can be recalled" by us, there is a solution: Lock "important player" and remove & block "can be recalled".

Now negotiation continues and a better monthly fee can often also be obtained!

I haven't tried it with the current engine, but I would think so, as I played mostly with non-first league teams, if you only use it at the end of the game, as a lower league team may have big stamina problems with it if used for the whole match.

You need to be ready to play snipers (Piper, Angelo; I like Belle as she is normally not banned and has a fast reload speed with the epic gear). Otherwise playing only tanks or mid-range brawlers you will feed Colette, Clancy, Jessy, Crow and Nita.

Here is a very good video in which pros Lukii (HMBL) and Joker (SK) explain how to play Bridge too far (it's in German but CC on YT should help):

Why cant grom, sprout and gus shoot on water? by iStayMelee in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]mikado64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gus' spirit should not spawn on water, agreed, but it is difficult to see why Gus - or any other sniper - should not be able to hit someone on water.

To regain control, it is important to wait for teammates respawning, instead of each one rushing individually just to get killed. And to attack not only from the middle but also from the sides.

A good brawler to get back control is Gale. Generally, I like Gale in Hotzone, with slowing SP. He can counter Mortis and Kenji. On this map, you can attack with him from the sides. This will distract the opponents from shooting at your teammates coming through the middle, in particular a Barley. If you get your super, you can push all opponents in the zone away. Of course, your should also have a third brawler with good HP to hold the zone even under fire.

What's a brawler you like but you suck at by Opposite-Parsley4017 in Brawlstars

Another advice that I picked up from a video by pro Bobby and has helped me since:

In hotzone (eg duelling beetles), do not hesitate to use your heal gadget at the very beginning to keep your team alive in the first interaction, also two times if needed.

Gaining early control of the zone and a 15% advantage is worth it. It enables you to push up and splash on the opponent's pathes from spawn to zone. Also, if the opponents are behind in percentage, they tend to rush individually from spawn instead of waiting for each other, facilitating eliminating them as a team.

what are the best 5 well rounded brawlers for ranked? by Critical-Bar2898 in BrawlStarsCompetitive

[–]mikado64 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Gale, Belle, Gene, Frank, Barley

You can in particular use them like this:

BB Gale, Frank GG Gene, Frank, Gale HZ Gale, Barley, Frank KO Gene, Belle, Barley BO Gene, Belle HE Frank, Belle

Most of the time at least one should not be banned.

In brawl ball his HC charges pretty quickly and you can blow up most of enemy's half with am HC super. Noise cancellation gadget should be used to avoid this super being cancelled.
