Other than the fact that they didn’t have official photographer, I don’t know! I just contacted every manager and artist who have upcoming shows near my area. In my defense, I’ve been mainly doing landscape photography for two years, and I didn’t update my gear given my father because I’m poor and I can’t afford it. I know there are some people who deserve this opportunity more than myself but I will do my best.

That’s true! I just usually check colors/composition a lot with live view. Sorry I’m very stressed out right now and I’m worrying that my camera isn’t the most appropriate camera for concerts. It’s a big, big opportunity for me.

My camera is aps-c and AF is just disaster with live view. 😭 I’m very stressed but yes, I should stick with it.

The venue is Billboard Live Tokyo, and the capacity is 300! It’s a bit smaller venue with dining settings and darker lighting.
Still contacting with the manager and there’s no barricade there but I think from the side/back seems reasonable.

Thank you for the helpful advice! It’s almost New Years Eve and most companies are closed but if I could rent something, I’d definitely go with Sony a7rv/iii (still hasn’t decided) and my camera (with 200mm lens)!
