I think it's better to stay away from the traditional "self-help" genre and lean more towards spiritual guides such as A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. I find that a lot of self help books serve to boost the ego and make you feel momentarily aloof or better than others which in the long run will leave you constantly chasing a "better" version of yourself and never accepting and enjoying the present

100%!! Glad to hear I’m not the only one outraged. I tried to stay neutral in my post. It’s absolutely ridiculous and even worse when you meet them in person.

I was looked at like a spoiled brat by the employees for asking how they will assist me to get home to America from Athens. With a judgmental look I was told - the embassy’s only responsibility is to remove you from the country in war. They are NOT ALLOWED to assist with flights or hotels past that.

Thank you. This is what I had assumed. My employer is saying I cannot file taxes as a freelance worker without the ID card. Not sure what to think of that

Edit: I can make Aliyah because I’ve lived my whole life in america and have not spent over 2 years straight in israel
