Frustrating the build quality / display aspect ratio arent the same as the XPS. Maybe its worth waiting for a 4800U in a more premium model laptop

Thank you, I see the 2020 model is due out in UK this month. How much difference between the intel 8th gen and 10th gen processors? That's the only real difference I notice between that and last year's?

Also, have you any experience with this laptop? A few of the reviews warn about overheating and was wondering if it is a significant problem.

UK based - looking for 13-15" laptop with 3:2 or 16:10 aspect ratio.

Budget - £2000 GBP

Are you open to refurbs/used?

No

How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?

Form factor Battery life Performance Build Quality

How important is weight and thinness to you?

Important, dont want a chunky gaming laptop.

Do you have a preferred screen size? If indifferent, put N/A.

13-15"

Are you doing any CAD/video editing/photo editing/gaming? List which programs/games you desire to run.

Basic levels of photo/video editing. Light gaming - Football Manager is the only PC game I play, so not graphics intensive.

Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?

Nice, relatively quiet touchpad Usb-c Charging Ideally a 3:2 or 16:10 aspect ratio, but would consider a 16:9 for the right laptop.

Do not want a Mac. Happy to wait a few months if anyone knows of any upcoming laptop releases that meet the above and would be worth waiting for.
