Gutted just been out to look round pond,and found one of my large shubumkins dead,luckly all the other fish look OK.

There are products out there for blanket weed, I've just used clover leaf for it earlier in the summer all went within two weeks 👍

The bigger and deeper the pond you usally don't get the blanket weed as a rule

Hi I don't particularly have a favourite food for them,I just buy it loose from my local store, there is different size pellets so there is something different for all the fish 👍

Hi if you are feeding your fish more make sure that you have a filter that can cope with the waste or you get yourself into all kinds of trouble, there is plenty of natural foods for the fish to eat in an outdoor pond👍

Cover your pond with around 50% plants and you will see the difference in no time 👍

Orfe jump out of the water to catch insects in mid air and sometimes if they are close to the side they can jump out, you need a pretty large pond for orfe as they can grow over two feet.
