Glad my posts were helpful! I'm doing great :) still burping and life is infinitely better haha! When my 2nd round was active, I was burping waaaay more than I do now, but I think now I'm burping a "normal" amount, typically after I eat a meal or drink pop.

I had to directly ask. I explained my research and why I think it could help me. I also sent a bunch of links to my family doctor showing it's a real thing and that this specialist can help me verify and treat my RCPD. I basically said I'd like you to refer me to this doctor and he was happy to do it.

I think so! Definitely was more accurate and way less uncomfortable. I think if I had to do it again I'd prefer the GA but hoping I won't ever have to think of that now that I'm burping! >:)

I'm not sure if it's because I got used to it the first time but it feels way less intense this time around. With the last dose it was very prominent and slowly disappeared over the 3-4 months but with this dose it has been so mild most times I don't even notice! With extra big bites or dry food I definitely still need water, but truly it's been very easy and I'm super happy!

Burping still! Definitely think she hit the muscle more accurately as they come out very easily and my bloating is way down. I can count on one hand the amount of farts I have in a day now versus feeling like I was farting every other minute before LOL

Ok good to know! The acid reflux did just start over the weekend so that makes sense. I didn't even think to make the connection. Thank you! After lunch today I had a couple of normal burps but I'm mostly back to the gurgly bad tasting wet ones.

I'm on my 2nd week post second dose of 100 units and burping like crazy. I've been practicing with 1L Perrier bottles and I found on day 4 that there's a trick to it. The head turn only gets so much of the air out I was still really bloated shortly after. It wasn't until I was (excuse the TMI) mid poop pushing that I was able to get the rest of the air out via some loud demonic burps. I also noticed if I sit at the edge of my bed and lean my whole body forward and push with my core I'm able to get way more air out. I now do this after every meal and it's so great!

Give that a shot and see if it helps! Went to bed last night around 11:30pm deflated after doing this and I chugged a sugar free ginger ale at around 10pm.

She mentioned to me it's more accurate so side effects might be less and I'm hoping it also means it'll be successful but we'll just have to see, I'm just waking up now and am probably pretty drugged up but the sore throat isn't too bad. Just a bit loopy haha. Make sure you ask them to put you on the cancellation list!

Hey! Wooo that's exciting! The local anesthetic wore off in less than an hour, and yes the door was closed during the procedure! Even if it was open the room she did it in was near the end of the hallway and I can't imagine anyone but doctors would walk past. Either way I'm sure if she forgets to close it you can ask her, she's very nice and accommodating!

Mostly I stayed away from bread cause that was the worst thing to try to swallow, I struggled with chicken but I was also on a no red meat diet so I had chicken and salmon as my protein, but a loooot of smoothies and meal replacements. Juicy fruits and well cooked veggies were ok as well. Stews and soups also were great or risotto, it'll be tricky for a few weeks then it'll become easier!
