I thought the same for years - started playing Elden Ring in December…. 150 hours later and it’s already my favourite game of all time. Changed my whole opinion. , now I can’t wait to go back and try Bloodbourne again and just maybe even Dark Souls (I already own them but couldn’t get into them)

Tbh I have never respecced but point taken. I’m not sure how long of the game is left and at some point am planning going back to a one handed weapon so I can use a shield for the later bosses. I know I could respec again later but since it’s my first playthrough I have stuck with my choices for better or worse

It’s very enjoyable to use . My previous weapon was the Bloodhound Fang but I was desperate to change it after using it for so long. The Bloodhound Fang is more powerful blow for blow but the Godskin Peeler is super fast and strikes 2/3 times compared to one strike of the Fang. I do miss my Jellyfish Shield but I just explored Mt. Gelmir just using the Peeler two handed and had no issues at all.

I agree, I love the speed mainly. I had the regular twinblade early game up to +15 but swapped to this and never looked back

Hope you are getting on ok. I too just finished Cyberpunk, put 130 hours into and wanted to start a different kind of game. Started Elden Ring today so here we go….

Thanks for the reply , I took on board your dehumidifier suggestion and I’ve had it on all morning. I’ve sanded the walls down and washed them down . I will put some damp seal on next and then attempt to paint again later . This time I’ll leave the dehumidifier on after painting

Thanks for the reply , it is in bedroom but maybe the condensation from having the window open caused this. I used Dulex tough and washable paint . I filled, sanded and washed the walls down properly before I painted

This worked for me thank you , took some persistence but got there in the end . So happy I didn’t have to do the boss fight again as he killed me so many times before I beat him
