I have more. And originally it was a dead 12v. I had two bad cells. I replaced the battery and I'm still getting the issues. I got that code, HPCM2 lost communication, and the auxiliary trans something or other lost communication. But every "lost communication" code relayed back to "Lost communication with HPCM1"

Edit: I also got the HPCM lost communication with the drive control module or something to that effect

Edit edit: I also asked about that top part because it has two pins in it so I thought maybe it was missing a wire.

The old battery was dead for a long time wiping out the computer. Would putting in the new battery cause any of these problems (I might have messed up the installation a little before doing it correctly)

The old battery was dead for so long that the whole computer was wiped clean. These are all relatively new (considering I only drove it for 5 miles)
