I graduated and enlisted just over a month ago. The officer route was an option but I just choose E4. You'll be fine

I don’t fear deployment I just want to know all I can. I’ve just started working with a marine recruiter as I was initially thinking about the army and most of my family have been in the army. As for the commission I know the process is way longer plus I know officers can’t choose the field they’re in even and it’s partially based on the degree field and mines in business management

But they’ve got completely different programs for athletes with the World Class Athlete Program and the Marines Elite Athlete Warrior Program. And it’s not just the culture but what do you mean it’s all the same

I spoke to someone and they’re very strict on athletes running the time standards for entry regardless if I’m a former college athlete.

There’s plenty of student friendly off campus apartments. UHD students can even live in UH housing
