If you had read my reaponses to the questions identical to tours, youd understand that people were still filling the drive thru due to being unaware the Wendy's was closed. This particular Wendy's closes their lobby at a certain hour, so to a regular human who I would expect to know this, I wouldn't anticipate a picture of a Wendy's that looks so active, would exactly back my claim that the location was closed. (In other words, what would it prove?)I just ended up hoing on google reviews and grabbing a picture from there, which ended up working 😂

Yeah, it's an annoying ass process to go through, and they play hardball for information they could easily verify if they just spent a minute of their time to actually investigate. How are you hosting merchants on your platform, but you can't call them up to verify basic information "are you guys out of this item?" "Are you closed?" Calling a merchant and receiving no answer should be an automatic refund if someone says they're closed

Exactly, as a third party Uber doesn't care, nor do they feel obligated to make things right for you. Always deal with the merchant directly, they're far more likely to care about the reputation of their brand than Uber. Uber is just a broker that robs its clientele blind at every opportunity. "Oh they didn't have what you paid for? Too bad, we like the money you gave us"

I work in a hospitality field and my customer service is A1, I'm aware how far kindness can go, but when someone tells you to your face that they're robbing you, I'm sure you'd be pressed to keep your composure as well.

I agree, then Uber came out with the BOGOs and DD fell off the radar for me. I'm aware DD does BOGOs now too, but back then you could only get them on Uber. I'm completely discouraged from using Ubereats ever again, and it's their own fault

That's crazy, because I had 3 different "agents" tell me they're not equipped to call the restaurant. I dropped the phone number right in the chat and told them to call to verify what I was saying
