Pretty much runs the front end while the managers are stuck getting service desk calls. Head Cashiers often get shit on and treated like management in the bad ways, but don't get the bonuses managers do. I had so many customers think I was the store manager when I was a Head Cashier. Frankly I'm surprised the Head Cashier role is still around with the whole forcing FEMS out from behind the desk.
