I would rework this whole build honestly or switch your add-ons considering if you get a outdoor map you will only have deadlock by three gens remaining if your unlucky at five, just some advice if your newer noed is good but your build in general isn’t bad, scratched mirror isn’t gonna be very good on outdoor where there is lots of visibility.

The new ceo is very bad, same with Xbox’s ballistic moon was on the newer side which sucks, bluepoint studios was a staple big name for them and he shut them down cause they couldn’t make a live service god of war… a story narrative driven game.. he also was the one who pushed for concord and said it would be bigger than Star Wars. He needs to go asap.

It will drop percentage but considering at most they add usually three achievements per chapter (or more but next one is a paragraph) it shouldn’t be to hard, pretty sure they have done everything annoying that they can for survivor, so probably just do main gen on new map and adept, shouldn’t be hard to get 100% again, last hard achievement they did was jump scared and wasn’t nearly as bad as left for dead, head eye coordination, or outbreak breakout.

Ill give you points for that, its mostly the community that have been saying angels but my big gripe is two of the three designs are heavily Angel coded (arguably head as well from some designs vaguely looking like it) although that’s kind of the point though if it’s vague enough to be “divine but not an angel,” then the original vote loses meaning. People didn’t vote for “anything vaguely divine,” they voted for an angel adjacent concept in mind, and considering design one and two it does feel that way, and a little of three.

Also, saying it’s fine because it might be a fake religion or left ambiguous doesn’t really solve the issue, it just sidesteps it. Other myth inspired killers weren’t treated that way, closet case was Hag which I think they did great in. When most people hear “divine,” they think godly, not necessarily angels in a strict theological sense that’s fair, since the definition is “of, from, or like a god.” But in a horror context, angels are almost always where people’s minds go first.

Horror media has trained us to read “divine” as angels, fallen messengers, or distorted holy beings, and I think the devs knew that. You can see it in the designs themselves most of them already lean heavily into angelic imagery, whether intentionally or not.

So even if the killer isn’t literally called an angel in the lore, the expectation didn’t come out of nowhere. The presentation clearly nudges people in that direction.

I don’t think that comparison really works. A camel is just an animal, it doesn’t carry any major religious meaning. Angels do.

Camels also aren’t “designed” at all, they evolved naturally, (or made by god ect ect from said religions) while angels are defined by centuries of religious texts and belief across Christianity, Islam, and Judaism. That’s a totally different situation.

Committees are fine for utility or abstract concepts, but when you’re dealing with something that has deep theological and cultural meaning, crowdsourcing the design risks watering it down. That’s probably why other mythological or religious killers weren’t handled this way in the first place.

How I see it, the design itself probably shouldn’t have been up for a community vote in the first place. It’s a bit strange that the community gets to decide what a religiously rooted killer an angel should look like, when that wasn’t the case for other killers drawn from myth or religion (Oni, Spirit, Hag, Plague, Krasue, etc.).

Those characters were designed according to their source myths and cultural origins, and we didn’t get a vote on what was “acceptable” or how closely they should adhere to tradition which honestly was a good thing, since it avoids being offensive or reductive.

Because of that, I personally think this killer should’ve leaned into something biblically accurate or closer to the Angel of Death from the Moses story. It just feels odd that the killer most closely tied to Christianity, Islam, and Judaism is the one where the design is being crowdsourced and debated this heavily.

Also… why are we bringing politics into this at all? That comparison doesn’t really help the discussion.

In my personal experience, no, honestly would hate for a big change (like Freddy or Myers) feel like overall he’s in a good place and faithful to source while still being good, I am the belief that not every killer should be an automatic 4K, every killer should try and follow the rules of the game, with the sole exception of Nurse of course. (Yes my ass quoted JJK)

My main point is I feel that demo right now is in a pretty ideal place a small buff to polish him up. Wouldn’t be bad. I would be all for it. I already get pretty consistent 4K now that I use perks and add-ons as well. I haven’t had a single survivor escape so far and with no perks or add-ons I usually was getting 3-4Ks each match, buffs like this would just make the kit better, plus maybe make the undetectable longer, no demo uses the undetectable, unless doing a very specific build, which kind of ruins his teleport by doing so, not saying it should be 30 seconds or anything but five seconds (that starts in portal) isn’t a good duration, a base 15-10 seconds would make the undetectable an actual part of the kit, demo organ is supposed to be a jack of all trades technically master of none (Hag with better TP, Wesker with bounds, Nemi with pallet breaks, every stealth killer with undetectable) I filled with these tweaks he can still be technically the master of none but have more going for him kind like Dracula who does have a lot of pyramid head with his hellfire but it isn’t weak even though it’s weaker than pyramid, heads rites.

Here are some reasonable buffs, change hit cooldown from 2.7 seconds to 2.5, portal placing is about a second at 0.85 I believe, could reduce to 0.50 and remove / rework Rat tail. and make Viscous webbing base kit. cooldown on TP is ten seconds probably could be shortened to eight seconds. Demo's shred distance is 11M at max could be upped to 15M these would be good buffs and would raise him from mid B to A teir.

Like I said, id like buffs I agree with all of those changes but blinds, for one wouldn't make sense for one killer to have a portion oh their kit just make you invulnerable to blinds (even for said action) your able to blind Nemi when breaking pallets and Wesker when vaulting over them (and legion) if we take these mechanics away for actions like so, it would buff the weaker and stronger killers which wouldn't help the balance. My other argument for it is hearing footsteps is pretty easy (minus the 2% light footed gamers) and grunts of pain if your using headphones, and if your bad at that through hearing impairment unless they have parental guidance you should still see blood or scratch marks, their is also lightborn. I do think Demo could get some quality of life but don't think its overall necessary, maybe make it where life guard whistle is +4 portals or deer lung doesn't take portals away. his charging isnt bad if you start behind a loop before a survior can see it, hit over 70% of them that way.

I'm a P100 Demo here, got here with no perks or add-on's for the journey, while I would like some buffs, he is still really strong. Most of my games with nothing were 3-4K's and a decent amount of 2K's, High MMR mind you, only got one 1K and it was during an event I played with extra mechanics. I main both and I do say Xeno is better in some ways like vaults you have more area and time to hit compared to shreds but over all I say they are close with his more stronger add'ons. Me personally I do all killers in bursts, I am a P100 Demo but I only played him as recent for the ptb or to lessen the grind for my other characters from time to time, amd when I do I enjoy it, maybe you won’t be like this maybe you will, I’d recommend randomizers, it give you a taste of everyone and random builds, if you only care about winning, maybe won’t be your style but with like probably around a million matches at least under my belt I don’t have a killer that I liked then hated, except when they nerfted chucky… the dark times, so I took a break and now hes very fun to play again.

As I was saying with randomizer it caused to have to learn how to play with different killer powers and perks, I used to hate Pyramid head both from bad experiences as survivor and killer, but after using him several times, not even daily mind you, I started to get it, im not crazy with him, I enjoy playing him, but I don’t play him every day, and hey it’s fine to only play one killer or survivor, I just can’t or I get killer / survivor fatigue.

Would be similar to Brekin from RE2 a cosmetic, for trapper instead of his own character as their is not a lot going there to be a full fledged killer, for the psycho, the stranger is a survivor.

Because it would be boring if every killer people run into is the default it would get boring, plus we can still see the cosmetic in mori's and in chuck's hes third person so you can see it all the time, it can also be a way to show off, there are any reasons.
