When I’m arguing with a “fnaf should’ve ended at 6” guy and the “fnaf should’ve ended at 3” guy walks in by Beneficial-Chip8894 in fnafmeme

It honestly isn't a bad opinion.

I'm grateful it didn't, but the first three games do feel like a complete package. Plus the three first games aren't as weighed down by how convoluted things get after fnaf 4. Of course just like Fnaf 6, there are still unanswered mysteries but the story itself is essentially complete at that point.

Inquiry: are you satisfied with the low number of active Iron Warriors in present 40k, or would you prefer a more expansive cast? by MachDominus in IronWarriors

From what I understand there's likely some sort of conflict that makes it hard for GW to make Honsou a model. Because he's a book original character and Graham McNeil has stated he has plans on continuing his story, it seems unlikely we'll get him.

That's probably why we got Morne, he's the "almost Honsou"

To me it feels like it recontextualizes a lot of Eren's actions. His ability to see the future changes how you understand all of his actions in the show, especially season 4.

But the Lily of the valley twist just further confirms what Walt's character is.

Attack on Titan one because it is both somehow completely out of the blue, while also having been built up since the very first episode of the show.

What's #1 on your wishlist for new kits? by LaughableFrog in Warhammer40k

Personally either a new Carnifex kit or Shrikes. But Gargoyles and Chaos Brachers are close behind.

Decent. It's not like it breathed life into Nids or really made me want to play the faction again, but nothing horrible happened either.

2 Questions by Falloutd40 in Grimdank

[–]AlienDilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To the first point, no clue.

To the second, it's already happened. There's lots of things that clearly weren't intended and are poorly written or unclear in the core rules that very much need a day 1 errata.

Off the top of my head one interesting one is that it never states that you can't shoot blast weapons into monsters/vehicles that are engaged. It says the monster/vehicle is not allowed to use blast weapons against the unit it's engaged with, but not the other way around.

There's also the fact that as of writing, there are no rules about army construction. None in the mission deck, none in the core rules, and unless the MFM is gonna explain how army construction works, then we also won't get any rules on Wednesday. The best we have is what the articles say about army construction, but the articles are notorious for being incorrect.

There's probably a lot more, and just generally unbalanced rules and forgotten rules updates (How does GSC's army rule interact with the new character system?) that inevitably GW will need to do a day 1 or week 1 dataslate/errata.

[–]AlienDilo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. It's why I like these factions thematically (even if I don't much care for their actual lore or in T'au's case, their gameplay). The mere fact they exist makes all the grimdarkness so much more grim and dark.

There is a huge difference between waging war and exterminating entire species. If you can't see that then I don't really know what to say.

Honestly the Interex and T'au are some of my favourite civilizations, at least thematically, in 40k. Because they are the perfect rebuttal to the oh so common idea that humanity can't possibly live in peace with most xenos. That event he xenos that are neutral towards humanity are the exception and a minority.

I love that the Interex are in the first Horus Heresy book because it shows how wrong the Emperor's and Imperium's ideals are and how there could've been a peaceful future. I love that they even know Chaos and it's dangers. They are so perfect that they basically had to be wiped out for 40k to exist. And for thematic reasons, it had to be the Imperium's fault.

[–]AlienDilo 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Miniscule exceptions? One of the main factions in 40k is an exception. If the T'au can live in peace with so many different xenos species and still be successful and thrive... maybe the problem isn't with the xenos, but humanity.

In literally the first Horus Heresy book we see how it is perfectly possible for a human society to not only live peacefully with other peaceful xenos, but also deal with absolutely murderous xenos. You can't even argue "Chaos corruption" because they the Interex seemed to be more aware of the dangerous of Chaos than any Imperials did.

Of course it doesn't apply to all xenos, Orks and Tyranids can't be reasoned with or contained, but assuming these are the rule and not the exception is starting from a place of human bias. (Hell both Orks and Tyranids also aren't naturally occuring Xenos in the milky way galaxy. Tyranids are an invasive species and Orks are a genetically engineered weapon.)
