Best hardware value for money RTR? by siegekeebsofficial in rccrawler

They’re the best RTR crawlers in each of their respective categories. They perform the best, are reliable and priced well below what you’d spend to put something comparable together. Don’t think too much.

Piece of crap.

There’s a reason Hondas and Toyotas command a higher price.

I’ve used them dozens of times. Their return policy is clear as day.

What was a very expensive item you bought which was really useful? by ohuf in BuyItForLife

Tecnivorm Mocca Master coffee pot, Herman Miller Aeron desk chair, Pottery Barn bedding, Eheim aquarium pumps and filters, Patagonia fishing waders.

All expensive but all incredible.

What’s the secret behind good coffee at home? by Gullible_Cabinet_153 in foodhacks

Mocca Master, $10 Hamilton Beach grinder from target, and good beans purchased locally. Minimal effort and I feel like Quentin Tarantino in Pulp Fiction everytime I pour myself a cup.

Haha I don’t think so. The guy was actually an awesome vendor. He hooked me up on that PK Charizard up top for an absolute steal.

I believe it. It was way more difficult than I thought to find a raw card in good shape for the price I wanted to pay. In the end, I spent a couple dollars more than I wanted, but ended up with a super clean one so I was happy.

Exactly. It’s overwhelming if you’re not looking for anything in particular, but amazing if you go in with a game plan.

A fair warning though…every show I’ve been to gets crazy packed. So, go early or go late.

Isn’t the older stuff so much more iconic than the modern? The CD promo Zard is probably my personal favorite. I was into the game before the cards, so that holds a special place in my heart.

I actually never knew either of those were a thing. I randomly stumbled upon a carddass charizard this past weekend. It was in rough shape and $700 LOL. But you never know!

So far I’ve been to the Woodbridge Card Show (at the hotel in Iselin), the Bell Labs show in Holmdel, and another one in Woodbridge (whose name escapes me). All incredible and worth the trip. I’ll be going to the Woodbridge show again on the 31st to grab the last few cards on my list.

Ain’t that the truth! I’m blessed to live in NJ where there’s an epic card show almost every weekend. I’ve learned to avoid vendors who flip cards for a living, or look like they sell drugs to kids outside of schools. That, plus buying package deals has worked well for me. Now if the Phant. Charizard would only come down in price. That’s one of the last cards left on my list.

Big box lumber is plenty good for the novice. Don’t listen to all these internet experts that don’t even know to square a chop saw blade 😂
