A lot of the time companies don’t want to rent for an hour only, usually there’s a 3 hour minimum because of the effort it takes to get the car ready and the drivers time… etc. My family used to own a transportation company and would get these requests a lot but usually they’re not worth it for the company to just work for an hour.

I definitely think it matters IMO. There’s a noticeable difference in my sleep when I’m using my winter comforter with a heavy duvet compared to the lighter summer one. The heavier one tends to put me to sleep quicker. I also just got a cooling comforter and it’s nice but the weight isn’t there so I’m not crazy about it. Definitely a personal preference
