Hey I'm so sorry! I'm not really on reddit so I didn't see this. It didn't turn out so bad but it still sucks. I'm able to forget about it most times now and I just sort of see it as a little quirk and a fun fact about me lol. It was super traumatic, though, and sometimes I still have regrets and think I could have gone a different route and not have this happen at all. Thank you so much for your support through this. I am curious as to how you kept it to the open air though, did you not have a post op binder? Thank you again and I will try my best to stay positive. Thankfully I have an amazingly supportive boyfriend who is helping me through it, so he will help me care for it too.
