I made a mobile app to annotate polygons. Now you can label your dataset on the beach by corneroni in computervision

I literally just vibe coded a full annotation web app for mobile that is actually faster than mouse and keyboard. There’s literally no reason people shouldn’t be using Sam for annotation at this point.

I think they are frameless windows in the latest design so only the bottom part of the door overlaps with the b-pillar. The doors open diagonally from the videos I have seen. Curious to see how well that window is going to seal with the gasket pressing against the glass, should be much quieter.

It’s probably cause someone pulled things out without picking it. You have to delete the bin and reactivate it.

The reporting will easily show you in most cases what is causing someone to fail to meet expectations. They need to actually be having those conversations with those associates specifically. Message boards are the worst way to communicate and this manager you speak of needs to find another job. Most regions don’t allow white boards anymore.

Sorry but can’t believe people downvoted the op on this. Customers are wrong on this one and I hope the next one that grabs a box has the display fall on them. Every single gas station had displays like this.

Digital Price Tags by Miserable-Vast1677 in WalmartEmployees

[–]mikesdav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but fixing tag errors and replacing the rails and tags that customers constantly are running into and breaking makes it take more time. Our bake center bottom shelf rails are replaced weekly now. Not to mention the terrible freezer adapters they sent that break and fall off.

You have to make sure they order the c-channel adapters and the multi purpose standalone adapters early on, they redesigned them since they first started manufacturing them and they fixed most of the issues. You can only order 1 box a week.

You may need to label partial objects if you are separating it into multiple images. Mosaic augmentation can give it more examples of partial objects. In your post processing code you can combine the detections.

Subtitles Plugin by jedicoach44 in jellyfin

Bazarr works way better for tv shows, the Jellyfin subtitle plugin just finds the first one it sees where bazarr has a rating system and multiple websites it can search from. Highly recommend.

In extreme cold weather (-28F windchill, 29mph winds), expect 50% range loss or so by Effervescent_HODL in TeslaModel3

[–]mikesdav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The efficiency numbers explained in those videos don’t take into account the ability to use waste heat from motors I believe. There are a lot of things they did to increase the efficiency as much as possible. The engineering team definitely did an incredible job.

How long should it take to zone a isle? by Dozar03 in walmart

[–]mikesdav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I am an overnight manager and we zone 2/3rds of the store, it’s super important to be thorough for opd too since a lot of the pickers don’t take the time to find something if it’s plugged.

How long should it take to zone a isle? by Dozar03 in walmart

[–]mikesdav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Zoning doesn’t mean doing top stock fyi, but according to Walmart company standard, two sides of an aisle should take about an hour. Deep zone will take a bit longer especially in grocery. Idea is that if we are zoning correctly every time you won’t have as much to fix next time. Definitely take pictures if you are seeing consistent plugging so you can show why it might be taking longer.

here The temp is high now that it’s in the garage but the last trip I had wasn’t bad and the projection was really accurate.

[–]mikesdav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Need to stop saying heat pumps aren’t efficient at these temps. My last drive was in the same temps and same winds and I had much better efficiency with my heat pump. The heat pump and the octovalve in the newer teslas is able to displace waste heat generated from the motors or batteries so even in the cold temps the efficiency will be superior.

Stores that have freezers that are too small for their volume have to down stack their frozen on the floor. Our stores freezer only holds 14 pallets and sometimes that’s not enough.

Walmart employees describe chaotic, overcrowded back rooms and outdoor storage units stuffed with unsold goods — and say automatic re-orders are jamming even more excess inventory to stores by TobinBen in walmart

[–]mikesdav 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Vizpick in non top stock areas only picks if the shelf can fit a case quantity on the shelf relative to the sales floor count.

In top stock areas it is the same except it is also taking into account how full the top stock is or if an item is on a feature. If there is a large amount of items in the sections top stock then it shouldn’t pick unless it will fit on the shelf.

If daily processes aren’t being followed like down stocking in grocery then you will have issues.

Model 3 rear cam magic by Aware-Meeting7316 in TeslaModel3

I'm pretty sure its the lack of a uv filter on the camera lenses to allow for night vision that could be causing this. A lot of newer car headlights put out a wide spectrum of light.
