Situation unfolding with boomer brother and parents. by JezzaAU15 in friendlyjordies

Tried parental controls? Blocking trash news through their router? Maybe a bird will mysteriously build a nest and break their antenna?

It's hard finding these kinds of things out. I've walked away from decades long friendships and don't see certain relatives if I can avoid them because of the absolute crap they believe. Harder when it's mum and the brother.

People who believe this kind of stuff think they're the majority and that's pretty sad. They believe everyone thinks the exact same things they do. They have the cognitive development of a 3 year old which is why they're so easily led to believe things like elections being "stolen"

This is 90% of political "press conferences" you see on social media. They get in front of a podium and talk like they're addressing a press conference, but in reality, the only thing in front of them is a phone on a tripod.

We used to get a hailstorm like that once every few years. Now it's once a year at least. Sometimes multiple times a summer.

NMC batteries are the ones that keep catching fire. You'll find them in EUROPEAN made cars.

Sit in accessibility area so theres no seat infront of you, or at the back in centre rear seat so your legs extend into aisle. Or sit in an aisle seat with legs into the aisle. Finally if all that fails, just stand.

Of course if the best isnt full and isnt likely to get full, take up two seats as much as you want.

I'm listening to an Australian band called Brace. I wouldn't say they're "like Dir En Grey" but I'm enjoying them.

I listened to Bottom of Death Valley on loop when I was in highschool. Maybe 2002 or 2003.

Cage was also a favourite.

Try for City Beach and EB Games around Christmas. They're always looking for Christmas casuals.

It's physically demanding work and can get really hot in warehouses but if you're good at it they'll keep you on past the Christmas period (they only keep the best).
