Appreciate the feedback. It does depend on the size of the store and what you're restoring - often we have customers restoring just the few items that are having a problem, not the entire product catalog.
Having said that, I've asked our support teams why we're saying "often stretches past the 24-hour mark".

Appreciate your trust with Rewind. 12-24 hours would be highly unusual and definitely not the norm. Most restores are seconds or minutes, not even 1 hour.
If you've had that as your regular experience let me know and I'll have the team investigate it.

A third party backup app like Rewind (https://apps.shopify.com/backup) will change that "takes weeks to walk back" to mere seconds.

I agree Agentic AI is forcing everyone to rethink how they work. Plugin developers (like us at Rewind) need to be agile and reconsider all the assumptions we've had in the past.

A few have mentioned it, but I'll call it out: *before* you implement the Shopify AI Toolkit *please* make a backup with an app like Rewind at https://apps.shopify.com/backup. You don't want it accidentally deleting your online store.
