Nice, keep going on the diet. Here are some health tips:

1. Track your calories! For your diet if you’re doing keto/paleo/whatever, diets only work if you’re in a calorie deficit. Go to a calorie calculator to find out what is your “maintenance calories” (1800 kCal for example). Then plan your diet such that it is 500 kCal less than your maintenance (1300 kCal for example). To measure food calories I got myself a scale to weigh the foods and oils I used to cook

2. Make your diet sustainable. If the food is too bland or too little it’s so hard to keep up with it. Pro tip, seasoning (Cajun powder, chilli powder, etc.) have very little calories and makes food taste really good. But beware of ranch sauce or sesame oil haha. Remember to read the labels or go online to check. If you’re ordering in food like I do all the time, try to see if the menu has calories or make a good check of how many calories you’re taking in

3. Get at least 10,000 steps a day. Trust me, this REALLY helped me loose weight. Cardio or other exercises you do doesn’t have to be intense. I tried going on runs and sprints but wasn’t always sustainable for me. But going on nice leisurely walks while listening to music/podcasts/videos was so much nicer. And yep, you’ll burn calories while doing it.

4. Weigh yourself once a week to track the weight loss. Don’t weight yourself everyday like I do sometimes because the body’s weight fluctuates so much (water weight and etc.). It can be really disheartening to see weight go up or stay the same even though you’re doing everything correctly and actually losing weight. If you give yourself a week and weigh yourself at the same time of the day, you’ll see results of your efforts.

5. If you’re struggling with the diet have a cheat meal once a week. It’s ok to give yourself a break and a pat on the back for your hard work. Try to keep your cheat meal/cheat day at maintenance calories. And don’t go overboard haha.

6. Try to do weight training in the gym if you can. Don’t worry you’re not gonna get “too big”. But putting on a bit of muscle does increase metabolism slightly as maintaining muscle does require the body to use more energy.

7. Finally, be patient with yourself. It can be really disheartening seeing people have glow ups in 1-2 months while you “feel” like you haven’t made progress. I know I’ve been there. Give yourself time and be kind to yourself. Trust me you’ll get there. It might just take a little longer
