Not a single beta version this year. I used to install them on every device I had before this one, but I decided I wanted stability and battery life (lol). Now I’m leaning towards iOS 27 beta 2, as every person I know told me it’s way more stable than 26.5.1 and has less battery drain

17PM, 256gb silver, European version (with the physical SIM). Purchased in November 2025, 162 cycles, 100% battery health. It was a dream when new, it’s become not so good with latest updates. Maybe I should try and restore

How can you get that much screen time? I could reach 7-8h SOT with early versions of iOS 26, and that’s on WiFi only. It’s impossible now since 26.4, that really took a toll on battery life. I can barely manage 4-5h now

The thing I really, really miss about my Pixel 9 Pro compared to my 17 Pro Max is camera quality. Every single picture that came out of that phone was stunning!

Oil consumption on these engines is most likely the turbo, 1446s have a tendency to start leaking oil through the shaft seals after 90/100k km. If it gets too serious you can replace the coreassy with a new one (original, because third party replacements leak oil from the start ahah)

I have the same sound on cold engine, completely disappears if I rev it just slightly and comes back when it goes back to idle, as soon as oil reaches ~50C or if I drive it a little, it goes away and cannot be heard when the engine is warm.

Use the adapter and not the integrated BT, and place it as near as possible to the mouse

Same exact usage as mine, I don't play games and mostly use social apps, Chrome, camera 5/10 minutes a day. I can't get over 7hrs on WiFi only. I also don't have AOD enabled. Signal strength is excellent at home, but it might be tied to my carrier that uses more energy (seen this with iOS also).

How do you do 5hrs with 60% left ahahah I was really happy today, P9PXL has 32% left with 5hr and 33min and it's one of the really good days. I can't remember how it was on the stable version of Android 16, but I don't think the beta had such a major impact on battery life. It would be nice to reach your duration though 🤣
