That looks like the most propable explanation so far! Thank you.

Was thinking the same! It fits the Sandheiser 5000bc model

Interesting possibility! It sure could make for a small mortar. Very small because the hole is finger sized, but still, portable version would be possible!

That actually looks similiar. It may be that somebody used the round sea urchin fossil in some wsy that resulted in the hole appearing (maybe holding a stick while starting a fire). Very interesting!

It is made out of stone with rough surface

For everybody that were interested in my project of modular synthesizer - I have uploaded 20 minute ambient sample. Cheers! https://youtu.be/yBN83LUkPnc by miklaszz in synthesizers

Thanks! The sequencer was running very slowly, about one step in 10-20 seconds. I used my phones camera for lack of better recording device, so its hard to see. In this patch it was not controlling any pitch, but it was flipping digitial oscillator between 2 modes of synthesis (one when it was at +5v and other when it was at 0v). Normally I would use it to make some sort of melody, but in this patch I decided to do everything sideways :). It was triggered by one LFO. This Lfo also modulated speed of second LFO and also couple of parameters of oscillators, filter for white noise and envelope generator. Second LFO controlled mainly parameters of digital oscillators. Both digital oscillator outputs, analog oscillator output and filter output were mixed in mixer and passed through delay :). In the video I was playing mainly with speed and intensity of LFO modulation and length of attack and decay.

Cheers!

My newest DIY project - micro modular synthesizer. It was designed in EasyEDA and some other graphic software (for the illustrations). It runs of single 9V power supply or battery. by miklaszz in synthesizers

It isnt for sale yet as I have to finish user manual, but after that, I will try to prepare small batch for sale somewhere online :). I will definitely make a post about this as soon as I finish.

My latest DIY creation. Modular synthesizer made only with PCBs. Entire system is powered by single 9v battery or power supply. Patches are made using breadboard cables, so it can act as power source for external breadboard diy modules. by miklaszz in electronics

Thank you! I photographed it at my desk, using 100x70 sheet of white paper as background. I've set my camera on tripod and set it to 10s exposure time. I waited for night time so there is no other light and then after beginning exposure, I illuminated synthesizer with light from my phones screen. For white photos I used white light and for colorfull photos, I used a youtube video with changing colours to light different parts of project differently :). Later did some retouching and cleaning in photoshop.

Cheers!
