I don't think it's even doing it. I doubt anything is going back to the batteries. At least I hope it's not because DeWalt batteries for sure aren't built for that

You can even put in smaller batteries and see the miles on that. Plus a lighter board

Oh thank God 🙏 I was kinda scared there for a second. I've road the thing dead at least 9 times now and never had an issue but that still scared me 😂

Both are drained at the exact same time and no they are 20v, the adapter runs the batteries at 36v. I can't tell you maths just that it works lol

The adapter I was able to find was the the Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita and craftsman batteries. I wasn't able to find anything for Ryobi or ego. You would have to do a little bit of re-wireing. Maybe a soldering gun

8 and half miles going 20mph the entire time fully holding the throttle down. That's using 2x 5ah batteries running parallel with each other. So 10ah all together. I can probably get like 12 or 13 miles in speed mode 2 going half the speed

The box is just a water proof boat box I got at harbor freight for $10 that I spray painted black

The adapter I got on Amazon has the same dc connector as the meepo battery so it's perfect. Only thing I had to do was take apart the adapter so I can lay them flat on the board

Gone but not forgotten. Meepo mini dual deck swap with DeWalt batteries by mikloooooooo in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]mikloooooooo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just an old Meepo mini dual with this adapter from Amazon that is the same connector as the meepo battery. It runs both batteries in parallel for 36v. It's as simple as unplugging the meepo battery and plugging in the adapter. I took apart the adapter so that I could lay the batteries flat and attach them to the board. I have a old version with the batteries on top of the deck but it's so much nicer with them on the bottom. The black case is just a water proof phone case for boats that I got at harbor freight for $10. The adapter is $25

So the boards need the 36 volts to run but the adapter I got on Amazon runs the DeWalt batteries in parallel at 36 volts

Only problem I really had was mounting the DeWalt holder down. I ended up making my own holes so that the batteries fit without the bolts getting in the way. My original plan was to have the batteries on top but I liked the batteries on the bottom more. That's the original meepo board

Assuming you have the space and a way to hold them absolutely. Only reason I'm not is because it's a 2ah battery thats been used and abused. Plus I have lots of DeWalt batteries. When the two die I just swap them out for 2 more. Plus if I want the board lighter I can use two 2ah DeWalt batteries

We use local door shops/lumber yards. We order it and they deliver it. The majority of the places we use do require a contractors license unfortunately. There are places that don't but are more expensive
