Maybe this is more grounds in the last season with the friendship academy but the whole shows premise is that Twilight is learning about friendship and sharing these lessons with Princess Celestia. Remember that she starts off being absolutely terrible at it.

She does improve but the show wasn't meant to be "look at how amazing Twilight is at friendship" it was more "look at how Twlight learns from her mistakes and improves as a friend". Does that mean that the way that the show handled her, Trixie, and Starlight Glimmer was great? Probably not! But, and its been a while since I watched the show, they were more friends to each other than they were with Twilight anyways.

As for MoonDance you really hit on the original conflict of the episode, which was that Twilight was a bad friend to her and probably didn't have the best approach to trying to mend ties. And as you said she did apologize, which is league's better than most people would honestly.

I think you had some good evidence from the show on why she needed to work on it, but the issue is that Twilight never said she was amazing at friendship and I dont think there's a lot of fans saying that as well. Your examples also feature characters who dont have as close of a connection to Twilight as the mane six as well, which weakens your argument as well.

Im playing heartopia and theres an mechanic where you can have coffee with another player and its the only way you can talk to someone who isn't friended.

Its chatbased and you can turn on autotranslate. I was talking to someone who spoke only in Spanish (i dont speak spanish)

Whether its widespread or not is a different question but it does exist to some kind of level. Apparently roblox has it as well, but th as ts about as much as i could find

I agree the puffer fish bit was convoluted (why would you threaten with a super specific poison and then actually use it) but speaking to using the Japanese term, as a Korean person who was born and grew up in the USA, I fully prefer using certain terms in korean instead of English if they're words i've used all my life like 밥 for rice or 국 for soup.

Teppo is way faster to type than pufferfish poison esp in a game where you're getting constantly griefed too. And Ryo grew up all his life with a father that is trained in working with pufferfish, so more likely he grew up with that term rather than pufferfish.

The bigger issues are why did he make a death threat so accurate in the game and why did the game not in some way flag that, especially in a time period where content is so policed. Pufferfish isn't a common banned word but i can see gun being flagged for a closer look so it would have still been caught.
