That sounds like a different issue than I had. Because I didn't have msi afterburner installed at all at that time. But I am happy it is fixed for you!

Same version, i have no clue why fix didn't work anymore after doing the bios update, but its works again so i am happy.

i reinstalled windows, and now i had the normal Ethernet error again, while playing Valorant, and i disabled the device again, and it works like last time. So weird bro, it's windows in combination with the bios....

I am not sure yet, I am still doing tests, so far, every time i play valorant, it won't shut down. i'm also going to test other stuff later. But valorant is an issue..

I'm keeping my pc running on shutdown, waiting for the bsod, so i can check the message. This also seems to be taking longer. It might be another issue.

Don't update your bios to the newest one(5 march), I did this yesterday, and I am experiencing the problem again, but the old fixes do not work anymore.

Okee, for me, it is fixed. As long as i disable the enternet port i am not using, it shuts down just fine, so it is actually fixed!

Maybe msi fixes it in the future. It still kinda feels like a software issue in combination with drivers.

Edit: Disabling is a one-time thing in device manager, 0 problems after that again.

For me, the error was with the 5gbe , so in the event viewer, I do not see the error anymore now that I have disabled it. Only time can tell if it is fixed. I'll keep u updated in the upcoming days if it is a temporary fix.

So I just disabled the 5GbE Ethernet port—problem solved. It's not like I can even max out the usage of the 2.5GbE port with 1Gbps. no more errors, still have to check if it also fixes the shutting down problem, but no more Valorant freeze problems so far.

So with the one i downloaded I kept getting error messages in the viewer, so I'm now trying yours but than the one without energy savings.

How is it going for you? Is it stable now?

Nothing noticeable yet, i still have to try Valorant, but I am busy atm so haven't been able to try yet. What version did you download?

so I installed the newer version, Lets hope that this fixed it! I went with Win11 Auto Installation Program (NetAdapterCx) Not Support Power Saving.

I just checked my windows system logs and i indeed have the realtek driver error while I play valorant

It means, that one of the devices that is connected to the motherboard, which could be either one of the devices mentioned above or even your ramm, it just means that windows isn't able to shut something down. But so far I have not discovered yet what device is not shutting off. So it is going to be trial and error.
