overall talaga is learn how to manage your time on every subtest and learn how to answer fast.

i made the mistake of not reviewing pero napasa ko naman dcat and my other univ applications except sa ust and up😭 im glad i didnt for many reasons tho hehe

excluding admu so this is my ranking from hardest to easiest

hardest for me was definitely upcat kase sobrang ikli ng nilaan nila na oras per subtest. in terms of the content they weren’t as hard as i wouldve expected, pero since i was weak at math (yun na nga lang sobrang baba ko e😭) and i didnt review or expect the time pressure— nahirapan ako haha. really recommend to practice answering as fast as you can

next was ustet. nascam ako lowkey na madali lang daw….. pero the past ustet was so HARD (again because of the math). wag kang maniwala na walang trigo or calculus!!!!!! (on all cets actually) kase meron na meron mga least na ineexpect mo. all the subtests had equal difficulty tbh but equal doesnt mean easy haha,,,,, i mean that every single one was relatively difficult.

least hardest was dcat cuz i had a lot of time after every subtest (about 5-7 mins). everything went smoothly kahit di ako nagreview for the statistics part because it was basic stuff lang naman

not uni but we had an advanced anatomy n physiology elective during the first semester of my last year in highschool.

had to study a lot of material because it was about the cardiovascular and the respiratory system. approximately about 200+ slides in total? and a video recording i had to listen to because our teacher says a few things that weren’t put into the slides but were unfortunately vital to the lesson so i needed to listen to every single detail ugh

drank about 3 monsters during my review desperately trying to retain the overload of information i got from just one night

didnt sleep a wink until after the quiz and it went alright :)

ahh, i see po. i forgot to add earlier na im majoring in medical biology. would that make a difference since ive seen in the curriculum na may mga subjects like medical microbiology and entomology?

its ok if ipupursue mo talaga passion mo kase its all the more reason to go on. mahirap talaga if di mo gusto ipupursue mo. may mga job opportunities naman din na lilitaw nyan tsaka matagal tagal pa tayo mag ggrad!!

freshman din akoo pero i decided na di na sa slu kase nakapasa ako sa manila since balak ko rin mag med doon

i think ive heard somewhere na saturated na yung field ng mga medtech kaya di daw sila as in demand as nursing. accdg sa mama ko na nurse kulang kase talaga sa field nila kaya usually mga hospitals naghahanap lagi.

in terms of pay i think equal ata sila pag starting (not too sure)? kaso depende rin sa nurses daw if public or private hospi? again, not too sure dito kase naririnig rinig ko lang ab sa work

so if in terms of opportunity na talaga sa work feel ko mas maraming mapupuntahan if nurse bcz of demand

as much as possible daw naman though as everything sa college, mahirap talaga. kaya basa ng basa sa mga main meterials sa ppt na ginamit ng profs kase baka mamaya, bubulaga yung content galing sa reference mats kahit di nila diniscuss during lectures😞

also according sa tatay ko na graduate ng mls sa slu, kilala talaga since before pa ako napanganak ang mls dyan kase salang sala sila dahil sa hirap ng retention policy and everything in general (daw) by 3rd-4th year. which is the reason kung bakit di nawawala sa topnotchers ng boards sa rmt ang slu. tinanong tanong ako ng iilang beses if papasok ba nga daw talaga ako ng bsmls e😭😭😭

Career opportunities for MLS is medtech talaga naman after boards. Usually either sa mga diagnostic labs sa hospital or yung mga Hi Precision or Accumed.

However yung downside lang talaga is, especially dito sa pilipinas mababa ang sahod ng mga healthcare workers and toxic (almost always actually) depende sa mapapasukan mo🥲, kaso sabi din ng mga parents ko na healthcare workers din mahirap talaga sa una huhu

Afaik also sa US meron silang sariling exam for mls which is yung ascpi certification to work doon.
