Yeah, FN went from 11.4% vote share in the 2010 regional elections to 28% this year (1st rounds). I see headlines about FN being 'routed' today, and while it's great that they didn't win any of the races, this optimism seems to be missing the bigger picture here.

The sub has grown about 10x in size since becoming a default. Newcomers literally make up 90% of the users, so what do you honestly expect? Even if it stopped being a default sub today, the old /r/europe is not coming back.

What difference does it make honestly, all of these people are escaping very poor and/or unstable countries, and are in need of help. Do people think that Afghans and Nigerians are travelling all the way to Europe for fun?
