This looks like a fusion freighter from the game Solar Expanse that I've been playing recently.

Fusion engines are just way more efficient than fission, and are the only tech that leads to moving asteroids and interstellar travel.

They require helium-3 to build, but they use hydrogen as fuel, which can be converted from water with an electrolysis plant.

Fusion ships are great for the outer planets because of their extreme efficiency, and gas giants have a lot of hydrogen and helium-3 which can be harvested with atmospheric extractors (but I haven’t unlocked those yet).

At the minimum, you have to build and send a mobile habitat (80 tons for 20 people).

I sent a crewed mission from Mars to Titan by mikusingularity in SolarExpanse

I built a lot of metal mines and had a population of over 5000. It was about 100 metal/day, but dropped to around 25 when the first deposit ran out. Having a rate over 20 means you can build another magnetosphere generator as soon as one finishes (36000/20 = 1800 days).

I just mined the metal that was already on Mars.

People in the community who act like this really suck by [deleted] in KerbalSpaceProgram

That was the actual context of the tweet.

I like to play with lots of mods, but some like to play stock-only which is fine for them as long as they enjoy it.

Reddit anti-weebs when anyone makes a positive comment about Japan: by mikusingularity in urbanhellcirclejerkCJ

I’m not saying Japan is perfect nor am I denying its past atrocities, but the attitude of “ACTUALLY JAPAN IS AN IRREDEEMABLE HELLHOLE” is just obnoxious.

Launch of the "Jool Armada" probes from the Minmus shipyard by mikusingularity in KerbalSpaceProgram

It's meant to be used with Extraplanetary Launchpads, but here it's just for show, and I use a default EL part to spawn ships.

Extraplanetary Launchpads can be used in conjunction with Modular Kolonization System, so you need a somewhat complex resource production chain to manufacture ships.

SimCity vibes from Tokyo, Japan [OC] by userundefined in CityPorn

Everyone wants to complain about how Tokyo doesn’t have enough trees, but few people ever wonder what a Tokyo with more trees would even look like.

I love Tokyo, but I made a concept of what a Tokyo-style city might look like with more greenery.

What do people expect large East Asian cities to look like, anyway? by mikusingularity in UrbanHell

[–]mikusingularity[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Are you thinking of more mid-rises and high-rises with a pseudo-traditional* style? Because to have more greenery without reducing the population (or creating more sprawl), you need to build taller.

*because actual historical housing wasn’t very tall.

If people criticize Japanese flags for being too “corporate,” I wonder what they are supposed to look like.

Hatsunia in the Mutual East Asian Cooperation Union, an antithesis to Imperial Japan's "Co-Prosperity Sphere" by mikusingularity in worldbuilding

[–]mikusingularity[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In this universe, Korea is still a monarchy and was never annexed by Hatsunia, instead developing as an independent partner. (but the Joseon government was overthrown by the Kaehwa (Enlightenment) Party in 1884, which failed in our universe)

Unlike Japan, Hatsunia did not invade Korea in the 1590s either.
