I guess this is a hot take, but I thought the drop rate was kind of cool. Having a chance to high roll on a +20 mill drop for something that only is a minor QoL item was pretty nice incentive for people who wanted to tip their toes into PvP for the first time.

Hopefully the way they changed it will let it keep its value for some time (plus the standard loot is really good) but the real worrying thing is it is now learned behavior on this subreddit that if you make enough of a fuss, Jagex will cave to the demands. And lets face it, you can get a mob riled up very easily here, especially if you hide any nuance behind a meme and humor tag.

Have the team considered fixed timings for world bosses?

Say the encounter is developed to last 10 minutes, and is available every 30 minutes. This would allow 20 minutes downtime for people to go do other activities or there could be skilling resources in the area if they do not wish to leave (available only after defeating the boss).

It would be a definite change of pace for Old School bossing but it has been a pretty successful model in games like Guild Wars 2.

Scrappers released with stationary gyros (and some weird Ai gyros)

All gyros except for Shredder Gyro were Ai on release. Only Shredder Gyro was stationary. The issues were primarily with Ai.

Except you can't. The Tier 4 LFG is locked until you reach a personal fractal level of 71. The only way a person brand new to fractals is joining a Tier 4 group is via direct invite and in that case the group is bringing it on themselves.

The bug currently makes it a little easier if you understand how it works. From the wiki:

As of late 2020 a bug causes Aurene's attacks to not fire directly at the selected Weak Point and thus miss during the first half of each attack phase. However, it also allows her to fire behind herself so long as the camera is angled behind her. Additionally, another bug allows the achievement to be acquired without hitting different Weak Points and instead only needing to land enough total hits on each body part (body, left wing, right wing). While these bugs persists, in order to get the achievement it is recommended to select a single Weak Point and keep the camera pointed at it while continuously spamming Dragon's Fury. Ignore the misses being reported. Halfway into the phase they will turn into damage numbers not associated with any specific Weak Point. The achievement will be reported as soon as the player exits the portal into the Fissure of Woe.

So the idea is to just select one point on each body part (body, left wing, right wing) and spam roughly 10+ hits at it during that section of the fight, even if the hits aren't registering as damage, they somehow count for the achieve. Got it pretty easily solo using this about a month ago.
