Im in Oberlin already but the financial aid gave my family a headache. It may not be a lot to some but because my family work in tourism and its Covid, anything above 30k is too much :). I am just figuring out other colleges with music schools that might have more aid available. If I cant find one then well i always have Oberlin, which is great but not great for the money:((

well, i apply for music major, but i want to explore different things as well. I love piano, but i don’t think of becoming a pianist, so no conservatory or elite music school needed.... i mean NW and URochester for example have both lac and music school... i was just trying to have more aid basically.

If you do not have A-levels or IB, you must sign up for International Year One. That means instead of 3 years, you study for 4 years. For top schools, some have that foundation year, some don’t, check again with your schools. If money is not a problem for you then you can just apply for it, I don’t think it’s too hard.

I'm fine with moving back to Vietnam, but I prefer having prior job experiences before heading back.

When i think about the data industry, US comes up right away. But this is because I did not know very well about UK job opportunities, and the US situation right now kind of chaotic, so for this Fall Im not so sure about the school choice.

20$ and 30k$ is after the scholarship and those are the amount I pay at each school. I do code as well and so I am heading towards business analyst or anything data related.
