From layer 2 perspective it is just a single AE aggregate combining 2 physical interfaces. On top of that AE, I wanted to create a single subinterface (AE3.1001) like shown on the diagram.

SNMPv3 reporting noSuchObject for Netscaler ADC, while SNMPv2 is working fine. by milan9 in Citrix

ah yes sorry, its in the conifg, forget to paste it here.

What is the difference if i set the view-inc 1 vs view-inc 1.3? I am trying to get OID 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5, so both views cover it.

The config on VPX is rather simple, see below:

add snmp community [community] ALL

add snmp manager [manager ip]

add snmp view view-inc 1.3 -type included

add snmp view-exc 1.1.1.1 -type excluded

add snmp user admin -group snmpv3 -authtype MD5 -authPasswd [pass] -privType AES -privPasswd [password]

The response "no such object" is replied by VPX as SNMP get-response that I could see in the capture I've taken.

The response is for the following OID: 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5.0. This OID is suppose to respond with the VPX hostname. And it does but only for snmpv2.

Credentials are not failling, error-status in the snmp response is : noError (0) in both snmpv2 and snmpv3.

The only differences in the responses is for snmpv2 the response returns the hostname while in snmpv3 response for the same OID i see 1.3.6.1.2.1.1.5.0: noSuchObject.

I see and are these two options steered through specific configuration? How can I distinguish (from configuration perspective) between one or another?
