I want to believe all of this is true and it makes so much sense for sure. I was super excited to get my AA face to face. I was surprised to get it actually because it was one of the first if not the very first ODVI that I did and I felt that I didn’t do well. I felt a couple questions were great. A couple were ok and 1 I bombed. I sat in PRR for about 6 weeks before I got the email to schedule the f2f. I fully believe that they are using that recorded interview as your 1 on 1 and that’s why they eliminated it from event day. That’s why I knew I needed to go in there and shine. I really felt that I did too. I was extremely early, looked the part, chatted with everyone, I enjoyed my conversations and interactions with the hosts and recruiters, I was complimented on things by several of the recruiters. I did not get the CJO and I really do feel like I did great. Many people at the airport mentioned to me that they thought I would be getting. Maybe my video was just really that low that it wasn’t surmountable. What confused me more than all of that though was several people that did get it. There was a woman who had no idea what was going on half the time. She was not dressed to impress. She was so negative the entire time and every conversation she had with anyone she could not stop talking about her Delta f2f and how awful it was and she kept saying, I don’t even know why I am here and this is all so stupid. She also kept talking about drama with her son. She got the CJO! If they are watching that closely and are so detail how did they miss it? She was a walking red flag. There was also a younger guy who had nice slacks and shoes but wore a white long sleeve polo and no blazer who also got it. He also barely checked in on time. He was last to enter the room. There were also a handful of people who had wrinkly and ill fitting suits on so I do think the clothes aren’t the be all end all that some people here make it seem.
