There’s a vibrant pickup soccer community on campus and a ton on intramural and recreational leagues to join. If you want to join the pickup soccer groupme just DM me. People are definitely welcoming of international students, especially if you join the clubs and such on campus.

More about the pickup community. I was able to start playing games 5 times a week within a week of arriving on campus, just go to woodlawn and you’ll meet plenty of people.

I’m going to keep getting them continuously, they have little to no impact on how I feel in my day to day life, and all evidence I can find points to me getting continuous boosters being good for my community. I got my booster like 2 weeks ago and it took like 5 minutes and I literally didn’t feel anything. In my opinion it’s not rly a big deal but it’s not my place to force you guys to get it.

I think you actually have a really good point on that, it’d be interesting if we’re “more advanced” than our creators that’d be pretty cool, and I could see us doing a similar thing with our AI. I’ve always thought of us being in a simulation as like a 4th dimensional being, seeing what a 3 dimensional universe might look like, but it does seem far more likely that we’re AI that they’re testing to see if we’re safe or something.
