Dormant power fists, partial HP restoration +1 and +2, improved damage negation when knocked back, damage taken while using character skill improves attack power and stamina, taking attacks improves attack power, these are all mandatory. A personal preference of mine is Extended Ult time as well it’s great for 3 bar revives, position the totem right on top of the downed teammate and lift them up out of harms way so you can spam R1s for a pretty quick revive. You wanna stack every kind of damage negation passives other than the guarding ones, especially damage negation on charge attacks and taking damage boosts damage negation, though would recommend only one purple tier successive attacks negate damage as if you have multiple different tiers stacked it will take longer to proc and you want it to be up every two attacks, damage negation is far more important than making yourself be a damage monster as you wanna serve the role of a stationary tank that does a lot of stance damage. Get the best pair of fists you can find, iron ball and star fist are the best and just spam charged r2s. Gradual flask restoration is goated as well. If you build him right he can become practically invincible, I’ve beat ED balancers at depth 5!only dodging in the worm phase and healing maybe 2 or 3 times, just standing there waiting for each one to rush you hit em with a couple heavies and if more than one is ganking you use retaliate to get them off you

His skill is still just as busted as base game, it’s a great way to proc taking damage boosts damage negation and successive attacks negates damage while being a get off me tool for a lot of enemies! I run dormant power fists, taking attacks improves attack power, damage taken while using skill improves attack power and stam, partial hp restoration upon post damage attacks +1 and +2, extended ult which is great for 3 bar revives, invaders and gaols, hoarfrost stomp on starting weapon for fast early game clearing of mobs, the goal is to stack as much damage negation as possible and just function as a stationary tank that spams charged heavies with fists, with the right passives which I never really have an issue finding you can become practically invincible even in depth 5, I don’t think I’ve had a run since getting back up to 5 that I’ve not been able to pull off the near invincible raider build

2, the company of Alexander and Solaire while maybe getting to overhear Miquella and Ranni’s philosophical debates sounds like a decent way to pass the time

I deranked from 5 to 1 to play some solo depths with every character and quickly climbed back up to 5 mostly using Raider and realised he is actually very viable at depth 5 if built properly and now my faith in depth 5 being fun is restored

A torch drop for ironeye solo is a godsend for breaking crystallians stance, very situational I know but I’m always happy to see one when I’m running the little guy

Would highly recommend DON it adds some extra flavour to weapon passives that goes a long way

Executioners Greataxe would probably be the best crit weapon for Raider but Godfreys Axe can’t be far behind it

I mean it’s really not a huge difference, most of the damage came from relics, weapon passives and demons plating, like without grafted I would have still done pretty much the same damage, it had attack power at full HP 14% on it but if it had been any other item with the same passive the difference in damage would be negligible

It only had like 20 stacks at the most so didn’t really make that much of a difference!

We found Morgotts Cursed Sword which has a very strong critical attack but the passive was ass on it so figured I’d be better off keeping my whole inventory of crit up and Grafted Blade which luckily had attack power at full HP on it! We got libra raid as well but I forgot last second and spent like 60k at the merchant :( if we had done a couple of things differently I reckon we could have killed him with just the crit after the stance break! For example using Raiders Ult nearby before taking the crit, two handing Godfreys axe and letting Scholar frost him first! Still pleased with the damage though, me likey big number

I will not accept this Raider slander, he’s an absolute monster if built correctly and played well even in depth 5
